Overview
Create Deck allows administrators to create new flashcard decks. Set up deck structure, add cards, and configure study settings.
How to Access
- Click on Flashcards in the left sidebar menu
- Click on Create Deck
Step-by-Step: Creating a New Deck
Step 1: Basic Information
- Enter Deck Name (required)
- Example: "Spanish Vocabulary", "Biology Chapter 5"
- Enter Description (optional)
- Describe what the deck covers
- Select a Category:
- Languages
- Science
- Mathematics
- History
- Other
Step 2: Privacy Settings
- Choose who can see the deck:
- Private: Only you can see it
- Public: All users can find and use it
- Shared: Only people you share with can see it
Step 3: Add Cards
- Click Add Card or Add First Card
- Enter the Front (question/term)
- Enter the Back (answer/definition)
- Click Save or Add Another
- Continue adding cards
Step 4: Configure Study Settings
- Set Cards per Study Session
- Enable/Disable Shuffle Cards
- Enable/Disable Show Timer
Step 5: Save the Deck
- Review all settings
- Click Create or Save Deck
- You will see a success message
How to Import Cards from CSV
- While creating/editing deck, click Import
- Select your CSV file
- Map columns:
- Column 1 → Front
- Column 2 → Back
- Click Import
- Cards are added to your deck
